International Women’s Day 2019
The 3rd annual International Women’s Day dinner in El Paso, bringing awareness to the global campaign theme “Balance For Better” calling for more gender- balanced world, took place on March 8 at the Coronado Country Club. We celebrated and supported our leaders, innovators, and risk-takers for thinking forward and expanding the possibilities for other women.
First lady of El Paso, Adair Margo, arts advocate, who is passionate about our rich and diverse cultural heritage, gave a keynote speech at this year’s event.
The Inspirational Woman of the Year award was presented for one exceptional woman, making impact on life of others. Dr. Diana Natalicio was recognized for her visionary leadership and extraordinary service as UTEP President, which profoundly transformed the community.
The General Casimir Pulaski Polish American Society of El Paso always wants to make an impact on improving the wellness of our community by donating funds to a local nonprofits. This year we supported El Paso Pro- Musica, organization focused on enriching our community through music, by donating all proceeds from silent auction.
